Judges

The judging committee will select the best 50 entries submitted, regardless of industry or category. Special recognition will be given to five entries within the final 50 winners: Judge’s Choice (three total), Design for Good, and Best in Show.

Judge’s Choice

Each judge will choose the piece they feel best exhibits effective design and creativity. Comments on their favorite pieces will be shared at the AIGA 50 Gala.

Design for Good

Judges will recognize one piece that best highlights design’s ability to create positive social impact. Learn more about AIGA Design for Good.

Stephanie Hill

Business Development Manager, HP

Stephanie Hill is Senior Business Development Manager for the Commercial Print Segment at HP, providing access to the best available knowledge of trends and markets for digital print, and offering specific consulting services to support business growth. Over her thirty-year career, Hill has held a variety of design and management positions with The Village Voice; New York City Transit Authority; Quark, Inc. and most recently IBM. Hill has been recognized in “Market Makers,” the Association of Graphic Communications, AIGA, Society for News Design, Art Directors Club of New York, Print Magazine and the American Passenger Transportation Association.

Ricardo Salema

Executive Creative Director, Isobar

As co-leader of Isobar’s U.S. creative discipline, Ricardo Salema specializes in designing breakthrough experiences for some of the world’s largest organizations. During his ten years with Isobar, Salema has led creative vision, experience design and branding initiatives for clients such as NBCUniversal, HBO, adidas, Sotheby's, Royal Caribbean, New York Public Library and Scholastic.

Christine Taylor

Creative Account Manager, Hallmark

Christine Taylor is a Creative Account Manager in Licensing at Hallmark Cards, where she manages the relationship and creative product development between Hallmark’s internal product development teams and outside movie and TV studio licenses like Star Wars, Warner Bros., DC Comics, FOX, NBC/Universal, Star Trek, The Walking Dead, LEGO and Minecraft. Recently, Taylor helped develop and also leads creative for Hallmark’s new pop-up pop culture brand experience called PopMinded. Taylor is a current National Board Member of the AIGA, recently co-chairing and co-hosting the 2017 Design Gala, and is a former President of AIGA Kansas City. She has both jurored and has been featured in various award shows and publications. Recently, Taylor has spoken at conferences such as Brand New, HOW and FUSE, and also to companies and organizations such as MoDA, Mattel and several AIGA chapters.
